OUR WHISKEY

The Glen Keen Estate proudly brings you one of the finest Irish Single Malt aged Whiskeys, distilled by experts and finished using the purest water from our Estate which, is designated by the EU as a Special Area of Conservation.

Aged since 2002 in fine oak and finished in Sherry Casks, this limited batch is carefully hand bottled and uniquely certified by the Estate family for you to treasure and enjoy.

Nose – Sweet, clean, a mature, rounded nose an indication of the taste to come.
Taste – Complex, interesting malt elements and a ‘roundness’ from the addition of Sherry Wood. Flavours to be savoured
Finish – Long Finish, flavours will linger on the palate. The quality of the components shines through and will be appreciated by the discerning drinker.

Overall – This is obviously a premium offering. The whiskey has been finished in the fresh Sherry Cask to allow the flavours to combine and achieve a partnership where the whiskey and the sherry wood complement each other. The minimum age of the Whiskey is twenty years old and this maturity is obvious through the drinking experience. The addition of sherry gives a ‘roundness’ and mouth-feel to the experience. One to savour, something to treasure.
